World Book Day is an annual event which takes place on April 23rd in most places around the world and on the first Thursday in March in the United Kingdom. This day was established to encourage people to get engaged with literature and to promote not only reading but also publishing.

I was inspired earlier this year to write and self-publish my own short  about a trip to a football match in Amsterdam called “That Moura Moment” and if you know me you’ll realise it was about Spurs beating Ajax in Holland in 2019. I only had enough copies printed for my friends who accompanied me and it is not on general sale, but it has got me interested in writing more. I now have two more books in “production”, one about my Mum’s battle with Alzheimer’s and one about how to make money from investing in residential property.

As World Book Day in the UK was on 4th March, the book I was reading on that day was entitled “The Property Coach” by one of the leading UK property experts, Aran Curry. I like to keep abreast of the latest developments by the best people so reading books on property is one of my favourite topics.

But not only do I read and learn about property, I actually take action and have built myself a healthy 14 property portfolio which brings me in a regular income from the monthly rents to supplement my State and private pensions. This extra income help me to enjoy life in full and would be covering my holidays if we were allowed in this current COVID crisis.

Now would you like to join with me as a joint venture partner in some of my next developments?

I’m looking for up to six enthusiastic investors to work with over the next twelve months and if you fell that this is something that would be of interest to you, drop me an email at investors@janvid.co.uk. We can then set up a Zoom call and I can outline how the whole thing would work and you can decide if it is for you and want to take it further.

To your deserved success

Dave Thomas
