I\u2019ve spent my life proving one thing: you can reinvent yourself at any age \u2014 and more than once.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I left school at 16 with fewer O\u2011levels than expected and a dream of becoming an architect. Life had other plans, so I began an apprenticeship in telecommunications, worked my way through ONC, HNC, and eventually earned a degree through City University. Later, I returned to Cranfield University to complete my Masters \u2014 a journey built on persistence, curiosity, and refusing to accept the limits others set.<\/p>\n

My career took me through engineering, consultancy, and senior management roles across multiple industries. Life was stable and predictable \u2014 until 2004, when everything changed. My father passed away, and I became a full\u2011time carer for my mother as she battled Alzheimer\u2019s. It was the hardest role I\u2019ve ever taken on, and it reshaped my priorities forever.<\/p>\n

When life settled, I rebuilt again.<\/p>\n

In my 50s, I trained in property\u2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u2026and built a 19\u2011unit portfolio in just 18 months using a simple, repeatable formula. I qualified as a mortgage advisor, explored multiple business models, and \u2014 like many \u2014 learned the hard way that \u201csilver bullet\u201d Internet Marketing promises rarely deliver.<\/p>\n

But I didn\u2019t give up on the idea of building something meaningful online.<\/p>\n

Instead, in my 60s, I focused on creating real digital assets.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Writing, teaching, and building products that help people develop skills, confidence, and creativity \u2014 without hype, shortcuts, or false promises.<\/p>\n

Today, my work centres around three things:<\/p>\n

1. Writing & Publishing<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I\u2019m the author of Painless Property Investing<\/em> (PPI), available in both print and digital editions. My writing blends experience, humour, and practical guidance for people who want to take control of their financial future.<\/p>\n

2. Creative Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I\u2019m currently developing the Children\u2019s Book Writing Course<\/strong>, a practical, beginner\u2011friendly programme designed to help aspiring authors write, structure, and publish their own children\u2019s books.<\/p>\n

3. Digital Entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I\u2019ve worked with mentor John Thornhill<\/strong>, whose straight\u2011talking approach helped me cut through the noise and focus on building a genuine online business.<\/p>\n
